Jimmy Dean An Entrepreneur Famous and Country Music Singer, Dead at 81

Jimmy Dean, Country Music Singer, Sausage King, The Famous EntrepreneurJimmy Dean, an entrepreneur famous for his eponymous sausage brand, also a Hall of Fame country music singer, died Sunday.
Jimmy Dean who first gained fame for his 1961 country music hit “Big Bad John”.

In 1976, Dean achieved a million-seller with a recitation song as a tribute to his mother and mothers everywhere called "I.O.U.". The song was released a few weeks before Mother's Day and quickly became a Top 10 country hit, his first one in a decade, and a Top 40 pop hit, his first in 14 years. The song was re-released in 1977, 1983 and 1984, but with minor success each time.

In 1969, he founded the Jimmy Dean Sausage Company with his brother Don.
Its success led to its acquisition in 1984 by Consolidated Foods, later renamed the Sara Lee Corporation.

The Quake Rattles Indian Ocean Islands, Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, TsunamiAlert, The Nicobar Islands, Tour On The Nicobar IslandsA 7.5-magnitude earthquake struck under the Indian Ocean near India's Nicobar and Andaman Islands early Sunday, triggering panic on the archipelago and an initial regional tsunami alert.

Tremors were also felt on mainland India, more than 1,000 kilometres (600 miles) from the epicentre near India's most easterly territories.

The quake struck at 1:26 am (1926 GMT Saturday) at a depth of 35 kilometres (22 miles), with the epicentre around 160 kilometres west of the Nicobar Islands.

The Hawaii-based Pacific Tsunami Warning Center initially issued a warning for the entire Indian Ocean region after Sunday's quake. This was downgraded to a warning for India only, when the magnitude was revised to 7.5 from 7.7, and later it was cancelled altogether.

"There was no water level changes and so we have withdrawn the tsunami watch notice," National Centre for Ocean Information Services spokesman Ajay Kumar said.

"There has been no tsunami in the Indian Ocean," Kumar told AFP.

The Vuvuzelas Inside World Cup Stadiums Has Been A Prominent Feature Of The Tournament

Vuvuzela, World Cup StadiumsWorld Cup organising committee chairman Danny Jordaan says that a ban on vuvuzelas inside stadiums is under consideration following complaints about the instrument.

• Vuvuzelas 'not loud enough'

The constant loud buzzing generated by the vuvuzelas inside World Cup stadiums has been a prominent feature of the tournament, with opinion divided as to whether they have a positive impact on the atmosphere for games.

While South Africa goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune complained that the vuvuzelas were not loud enough during the country's opening game against Mexico, some players have complained about the droning noise and broadcasters also have reservations.

Jordaan says the situation is being closely monitored by the organising committee and that a ban on the instrument could not be ruled out.

"If there are grounds to do so, yes," Jordaan told BBC Sport. "We did say that if any land on the pitch in anger we will take action.

"We've tried to get some order. We have asked for no vuvuzelas during national anthems or stadium announcements. It's difficult but we're trying to manage the best we can.

"We've had some broadcasters and individuals (complaining) and it's something we are evaluating on an on-going basis.

"I would prefer singing. It's always been a great generator of a wonderful atmosphere in stadiums and I would try to encourage them to sing.

"In the days of the struggle (against apartheid) we were singing, all through our history it's our ability to sing that inspired and drove the emotions."

Google has released it ’supdate of Google Maps 4.2 that goes to fill a gap for some time in the Italian version: the lack of turn voice guidance turn can give you information in real time (up to the previous release was only possible plan your route). Together with Italy, the service Google Maps 4.2 Navigation is made available in Spain, France and Germany (after the U.S. and Britain).

The Navigator is compatible with versions of Android 1.6 and newer allows map display in three-dimensional graphics or vision satellite and calculates the route to cheaper car, on foot or by public transport.

Among other features, to be reported (if you have the latest versions of Android) the ability to set the destination by voice, so no need to type addresses on the keyboard. You can also set the destination from the phone book.

On the last round, Co Crop knocked Barry down with a series of punches and pushed Barry’s head back against the cage and landed. Cro Cop saw the opportunity to end the bout and sunk a vicious rear naked choke, causing Barry to tap.
