The Jones Soda Wal-Mart deal is so exciting for investors is that it will introduce the quirky soda to millions of new customers.Apparently investors are thrilled with the idea. In fact, after Jones Soda Co. announced last month that their famous soda would be carried at Wal-Mart stores throughout the country, the shares went up 84%.
Wal-Mart will be one of the ones that sells Jones Soda. Also, the deal gives the company 10% more distribution outlets.
