Activision announced last May 13, 2010 that the second downloadable map pack of the game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 entitled “Resurgence Package” will become available starting in June 3, 2010. The package will be first available in XBox Live in North America.Resurgence will include three new multiplayer maps, Carnival, a desolated amusement park, Fuel, an oil refinery, Trailer Park, a mobile home park, and the remake of Strike and Vacant, maps from Call of Duty 4.
Last March 30, the company released the first Map Pack for the game entitled Stimulus Package. It only contained three maps, Bailout, Storm and Salvage.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a first-person shooter type of video game. The game was developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision originally for XBox 360 and Playstation 3. Later for Microsoft Windows operating systems. The game is the sixth installment of the Call of Duty series.
While the map may be already out for XBox Live, it will still be released on a later date for the Playstation 3 and PC. The date however, is still unconfirmed.
The two packages did not differ in its price at $15, which is a retail for 1200 Microsoft points.
