Slovenia needed a win here to take them into the last 16 of the World Cup, and after Birsa put the ahead with a brilliant strike in the 13th minute it looked like they were going to cruise past the United States.But America came out fighting in the second half, and the brilliant comeback began! The USA’s best ever player, Landon Donovan, immediately gave the States hope by pulling one back in the 48th minute and after that it just seemed a matter of time before the equaliser came.
Bradley finally got it with ten minutes to go, but many believe that should have won it as Edu had a perfectly good goal disallowed.
