Robert "Bobby" Spillane Died After Falling From NYC Apartment Building

Robert Bobby Spillane,Law and Order,hit TV shows, The gangstersIt is unclear whether Robert’s death was an accident or if he committed suicide, but authorities say around 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, he fell from the sixth floor window of his Eighth Avenue apartment building.

Robert Bobby Spillane, 45, was the youngest of Mickey Spillane’s three children. He had played bit parts on hit TV shows such as, “NYPD Blue”, “Law and Order” and “Rescue Me”, and wrote an off-Broadway play about cross-dressing gangsters.

Robert “Bobby” Spillane, 45, was discovered by his lawyer brother, Michael, 46, about 8:00am on the sidewalk outside his Eighth Avenue apartment building, police sources and witnesses told the New York Post.

Spillane was leaning against a screen when it gave way and he fell through an open window, his uncle James McManus said.

Spillane starred in award-winning TV series “NYPD Blue,” “Law and Order” and “Rescue Me,” and also had a minor role in 1999’s “Thomas Crown Affair” movie remake starring Pierce Brosnan.
